in December of 2012 I played a show with a certain band that will go unnamed. This band had a certain lead front-man-guy who thought it alright to act like a total dickbag to myself, the sound guy, and pretty much everybody that was around. It would have worked if his band's music was any good, but their innocuousness made this guy's asshole behavior worse. At the end of the night I joylessly received a tape from his band, not in the ideal communal-giving sense, but what felt like some sort of behavioral obligation on both our ends. Obviously, neither him or I gave a shit about each other's music, yet we traded tapes anyway (I hoped for the sake of his band members, who were actually pretty nice).

Needless to say the tape was no good, and rather than hold on to an object of which I have nothing but acrimonious things to write about it, I've decided to record and release an EP onto the tape. This thing comes in a limited edition of one, that specific tape that I have recorded "Fuck You" over. It's 4 songs on two sides, all songs with similar compositional shape, two lyric and two instrumental.

Thank you for your listening. It's somewhat understandable that this occurrence is not uncommon in our everyday lives. May this help you address the superfluous behaviors of shitty people in your life.
